CEO
Weng Cheah
Weng has developed his experience in Financial Markets over the last 30+ years, where he has held senior management positions at many International and Regional financial services firms that include JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Newedge/SocGen in Singapore, London, Hong Kong and Sydney. This experience has encompassed trading, financing and risk control with investment banks, prime brokerage, and asset management. He is a graduate of the UNSW and a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Gaudi Schneider
Gaudi serves as Max Alpha’s Chief Scientist. He creates Max Alpha’s innovative investment solutions and provides insights to clients, all rooted in empirical evidence and quantitative analysis. Gaudi draws on over 20 years of investment experience with companies such as Merrill Lynch and UBS Global Asset Management. In his most recent role, he served as head of Quantitative Strategy at a fast-growing B2B WealthTech firm in South-East Asia.
Gaudi holds a MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Sijing Yang
Jing graduated from the University of Sydney with a master’s degree in marketing and obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance from Macau University of Science and Technology. She is a resourceful problem solver with proven ability to bring a quick resolution to challenging situations as well as building lasting relationships with clients and potential clients. Jing is RG146 compliant in both Generic Knowledge and Managed Investments. She consistently thinks actively to utilize her expertise in creating solid value for high-net-worth investors.

Leo Huang
Graduated with academic excellence and as a UNSW Dean’s List Award recipient, Leo holds a master’s degree from UNSW in the newly evolved FinTech space, where he is renowned for his expertise in statistical analysis through a large variety of toolkits (Python, Tableau). Apart from financial data analysis, Leo stands out in providing exceptionally beautiful data visualisation and automating day-to-day operational data flow with self-developed tools.
Associate Director – Relationship Management
Jackson Loong
As part of Max Alpha’s relationship management team, Jackson Loong delivers Max Alpha asset management funds to wholesale private clients. Before joining Max Alpha, he spent more than 20 years in client advisory positions in financial services. An expert in financial markets delivering solutions in equities and wealth management, Jackson has worked for major financial institutions including Commsec and Citibank. Prior to Max Alpha, he established and managed a financial planning business servicing the greater Sydney region for more than 12 years.
Jackson holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the Securities Institute of Australia.
